Celebrated Vic’s bufday last Friday at Tasting Room. I was told that Tasting Room serves good contemporary European cuisine. Every dishes in the menu come with a recommended wine.

My first trip there, it was abit hard for me to locate the Tasting Room as it’s located on 2nd floor. It would be easier if you look for Wine Cellar as Tasting Room is located just above the wine store.

Here comes the foods. Personally I dun like mushroom, but i must say .. the luxurious mushroom soup that Jacq’s ordered was creamy and yummy! Even soup also can pair with wine. With additional RM17, she added a glass of Bodega Lurton Pinot Gris.

Next, our Mr. Jan ordered Pasta Duo. A plate of pasta that came in 2 different colours, with the combination of squid-ink angel hair and green tea soba pasta. The scallops were BIG !!!

As for me, I ordered spaghetti carbonara. I must say that it’s the best carbonara I’ve ever had so far. The egg yoke sauce (which obviously is a raw egg) made the sauce creamier.

Vic ordered pan seared lamb. I tried a piece of the meat and it was nicely cooked.
