Bumbu Bali @ Puchong

Heard of Bumbu Bali alot of times, but haven’t been there before. This evening, I finally got the chance to try out the foods (balinese cuisine) at Bumbu Bali , Puchong.

The surroundings are well-decorated with photos and some statues. The whole restaurant is in dim lights, which makes the environment comfy and .. romantic. SomehowI love the way they decorated Bumbu Bali except for the wooden chairs.

Kick off with drinks. One of my fren ordered blue hawaii which costs around RM8.90

If you’re looking for something more “balinese”, you might wanna try the mojito lemon grass.

Moving on to foods. I ordered nasi campur bumbubali (ayam rendang). The name sounds abit common with “nasi campur”as prefix but indeed, it is not! It was served with sweet potato rice, together with grilled squids, grilled fillet fish, grilled prawns, Sate Lilit, vege, salads, ayam rendang etc. Overall, it’s more like a seafood platter with rice. I belief Sate Lilit is one of those in their “chef recommendations” part, made out of seafood paste which was wrapped around lemongrass as skewers. As always, I didn’t finish my plate of nasi campur bumbubali (ayam rendang) as the portion was too big!
